Thelema Mountain Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2010

I haven't sampled many wine from the Stellenbosch for a while but generally I thought that the region produced very good Cabernets and Chenin Blanc. This wine hasn't changed my mind.

Thelema Mountain Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2010

There are hints of overly sweet melon in the middle of this wine but the palate is rather flat and short.  Its the type of wine that leaves me wondering what the point of it was. That said I have tried a few wine that were about the same quality for over twice the price.
