Patritti Savagnin 2010

I haven’t had too many Aussie Savagnin's so it was interesting to see what we can do. The production of this variety is normally carried out in the region of Jura in France and at it makes profound wines of nutty complexity and depth. This wine is not made in that manner and it offers easy to understand likeability.

Patritti Savagnin 2010

Good: Masses of flavour and texture. Feels like glycerine on my palate and it would work brilliantly with heavy French dishes.

Bad: needs more acidity to balance it out.

Flavours: Peach fuzz, Spice, Hay, Honey Suckle, Dried flowers, Lemon balm.

Alcohol: 12.5%
Price: $14
Rated: 86
Drink: at 14 bucks this wine can be drunk whenever you like
