Vang Dalat White NV

Vietnam isn't the normal place I would think about for wine but the country has got right behind it. The amount of tourists and with the increase of the middle class the wine industry has exploded. Most of the vines are young but many overseas and local companies have invested heavily to get the industry started.

Vang Dalat White NV

The Vang Dalat is an interesting wine as the flavours are nothing like I have tasted before but the palate is dilute and short. First to the flavours as they are in the lemon, green papaya and sandlewood sort of frame. Next to the quality as the flavours are alive and kicking on the front palate but the mid-palate is a bit flat before they fade on the back palate.

Alcohol: 12%
Price: $4
Rated: 79 and pretty good for the price especially as it works well with the style of food
Drink: Now
