Tyrrells Brokenback Shiraz 2009

The Brokenback Shiraz normally provides me with an insight into the quality of the rest of the Tyrrell's stable. Watch out for all of the 2009 Wines as they are beautiful.

Tyrrell's Brokenback Shiraz 2009

I put the stop watch on this as it took so long to emerge.  Flavours of fragrant red berries, floral gardens, boot polish and coco powder builds but the wine stays at the spicy end of the spectrum.  Some darker fruits emerge on the medium bodied framework and the soft tannins spread out providing a chalky interest.
