De Bortoli La Bossa Pinot Grigio 2012

Pinot Grigio was first cultivated in in France in the early 1300s. As with many varieties it spread around the trade routes. As phylloxera decimated the root stocks in France, Italy remained with its pre-phylloxera root stocks. Generally these style wines are made to be released quickly onto the market in a zippy food friendly style.

De Bortoli La Bossa Pinot Grigio 2012

A very citrus prientated style grigio but with pear skin attached and a hint of flowers. The entry is sweet but soon the acidity pulls it into the lively end of the spectrum. The enrty level Grigios are getting better and they are so freshing for it.
