Deakin Estate Pinot Noir 2013

Pinot Noir comes from ultra dedicated wine-makers and cool climates. Well not all the time as this is from around Mildura in the Murray Darling area. I don't know anyone in the Yarra Valley or Adelaide Hills that could produce a Pinot at 10 bucks a bottle.

Deakin Estate Pinot Noir 2013

Warm Climate and really hot and burnt on the nose and the palate. There is a little cherry action on the palate with a touch of burnt rubber and a smidgen of tannins. Not much but just a hint.I was really surprised that the alcohol was only 13 percent as it tasted more like 14.5. I guess that it is more about balance than actual content level.
