Patritti Gloria Chardonnay 2011
This smells like a barrel fermented fully worked style of Chardonnay but as soon as I put it to my lips the wine feels delicate with huge amounts of acidity. The wine definitely fits into that modern cool climate style and it has a huge amount of swagger to boot. What is most surprising is the price as it sits at 15 bucks but that is what I'm starting to expect from Patritti. Brilliant value every time.
