Torbreck Cuvee Juveniles 2010

Now I haven't had much fun with the Torbreck wines of late. Don't get me wrong they are all not bad wines its just they haven't been very good value. This wine is from the 2010 vintage and it is a return to form for the label.

Torbreck Cuvee Juveniles 2010

Its more of a mellow juicy wine than anything else with flavours of raspberry and dark cherry lollies, warm earth, roasted meat covered in summer herbs with a piece of red licorice thrown in. The alcohol does rock the boat a little but at this price point I'm more than happy to feel the warmth. There is little in the way of tannin structure but you do get a lovely wine for your money.

Alcohol: 14.5%
Price: $25
