Two Hands Gnarly Dudes 2010
Right out of the blocks this screams at me! The flavours of brandy soaked blackberries and prunes are in your face from the outset. Next to join the team is chocolate covered raisins, plum pudding and spice and these all sit of an ultra plush and smooth palate. It is the palate texture that saves this wine from falling right down the bottom of a hole as it adds enjoyment in a seductive manner. The oak treatment is firmly in the background but there is a level of heat that would normally be associated with an 08 or 09 Barossa Shiraz.
