Chateau Saint-Hilaire Medoc 2007

Bordeaux is normally a blend and this is no different with it's Cabernet and Merlot.  What this suggests to me is that good quality Cab Blends dont have to be expensive or the 2007 vintage rocks. I'm thinking that Australia should do more of these.

When I first opened this you could say it was muted but is kept on building as the days went on.  There was a lot of leaf action happening with a pungent blackcurrant rolled in spicy green tobacco.  Its not for a long time but it is for a good time.
