Sagrantino Vineyard

So I've been down to have a look at the vineyard that I am taking my Sagrantino fruit from this year and I thought I would share it with everyone.




The friut looks good at this stage with yields down by about 25 - 40%.

    I made two wines from the 2011 vintage. A Chardonnay which sees 8 weeks skin contact to develop texture and a Sangiovese. I have dropped making the Sangiovese as the vineyard was too far from my house and will now turn my hand to Sagrantino.
