I do like my mataro and this is ready to go. The full bodied frame allows the meat and dark fruits to collide with spicy blueberries that have been rolled in dirt .  What surprised me was the lack of structure. Where is the tannin? This variety normally attacks your palate with a wealth of tannins which I find totally seductive. What the Torbreck brings is a sexy silky mouth feel which is like sliding naked into a silk sheeted bed with your partner.  MMM bring that on!
