Wyndham Estate Bin 555 Shiraz 2008

 Wyndham Estate was established in 1828 which would have to make it one of the oldest wineries in Australia.  For some reason I think some things have changes since their inception.  This Shiraz is the 24th biggest selling wine in Australia and the 3rd biggest selling red wine.  Who thought Australians drank so much sparkling or white wine.

The wine starts out with a little fly-spray action then moves to peppermint, stale chocolate and plum.  While the palate is dilute and rather broad it does provide some enjoyment for the price.
